I don't have much to say tonight, so I just decided to put up some pictures of our dog Pumpkin. The kids are out of school now. We are looking at trampolines. It has been hot and dry, with a lot of smoky haze from the fires in south Georgia. In the heat of the day, we watch the spiderman movies featuring Toby Macguire and Kirsten Dunst. These movies exhaust me about as much as working in the heat would.

I think it commendable that Pumpkin keeps the paint tray clean and only lies down to rest after all the trash is in the can. As for trampolines and Hollywoodifktion of the human child--the lab work makes it as clear as carbon heat-transfer ratios that most children are far better off rebounding to almost any altitude than they are in absorbing the lifelessons of Spidey or the Ploddingplotted, potted Pyragyrates...
What is wrong with Pumpkin's Head??? It looks like a big bloody hole in the top of her head.
We think she gouged it trying to climb under the chain link fence. We cleaned it up and put antibiotic ointment on it every day. It is almost completely gone now.
