Getting up to speed

I have been trying like hell to follow this whole Don Imus thing and I was about to give up. If you listen to clip, the other guy says "hardcore hos," yet nobody is talking about him. The whole thing is really about the hair. Then I saw a photo of Imus' own intimidating mane and things became clearer. As a man who has struggled with hair issues on a daily basis since puberty, I became more attuned to the pain. I remember listening to Imus back in Raleigh where I could get it, and I never could figure it out. Today I gave up and started to research the Sanjaya controversy. Now there is one bodacious head of hair. And that little girl, Ashley Ferg, who cried on the show, was on all the morning shows the next day. Man, I totally missed that. She has a wikipedia article now, though it is about to get deleted, or merged with Sanjaya's article. I saw Cornel West holding forth on Imus this morning and, after I got to the bottom of the Sanjaya thing, I spent the remainder of the afternoon watching Cornel West speeches on Youtube. That is one mesmerizing brutha. Oh the things we can do when we should be working...
