Here is our new wheels. We sold just about everything we own that has wheels on it so we could pay cash for this. It almost came out even. Let's just say I am not the world's toughest negotiator. If I had a job selling stuff that involved haggling at all I would be fired after about a day. But it is all over now, everything is gone, and all we have to do now is pack what is left and enjoy the ride.

It is a new, 2006 V6, 2WD. It has all kinds of nifty little compartments everywhere. We kept the VW. We just put a lot of $$$ into the Golf in the form of AC and new radio to make the trip bearable. The golf is going to haul the cats and the truck will haul kids. Most likely I will be listening to the radio trying to drown out cats crying and Mrs Tobit will be listening to "The Incredibles" over and over.
